Plakat!

Role
Visual design, motion design,  producer
About
Plakat! is a group exhibition for typographic posters. Students of Aalto Arts and UniArts have participated through an Open Call to submit designs for typographic posters created inspired by the theme slow craft, which have been both screen- and inkjet printed with a uniform color palette to curate the designs of this group exhibition. The intention of the exhibition on behalf of the production team is to celebrate typographic expression and poster art as essential practices of visual communication design in Finland.

Aavistus Festival 2024 Logo & Visual Identity

Role
Logo Design
Concepting
Graphic Design
Motion Graphics

About
Aavistus Festival is a biennial of audiovisual art and VJ culture in Helsinki that promotes local and international artists and aims to showcase the wide potential of live audiovisual expressions. The theme of the festival At the points of iterconnection inspired the visual indentity as well as the curation for the festival. We interpreted the theme into a strong liminal contrast between two areas, which can be deliberately broken by our graphic elemets, typography or anything else we want to use in order to create a striking focal point.
As a part of the visual communications team I worked with head of design Jassir Kuronen with developing the visual identity, and later on implementing the visual identity in the festivals commuincation, both in print and online.

Visual Identity for Entropy 30 year anniversary

Role
Art Direction
Logo Design
Graphic Design
Motion Graphics
3D Illustration

About
The association for electronic music culture Entropy is celebrating their 30th anniversary by inviting local and international DJ’s, VJ’s and Audiovisual artists to perform at an underground industrial venue. The theme for the party/festival is Reflections, which has three dimensions: reflection in time, reflective materials and introspective reflection. The visual identity features lots of reflective surfaces, but also expresses reflections in time in the poster for example, where the early 2000s inspired 3D illustration is superimposed on the flyers from Entropy ry parties from the last 30 years.
